Traditional Sailing Cruise

Celebrating the Port of Hamburg's birthday, with a twist: experience the many modern and ancient ships on the Elbe River and watch the hurly-burly at the world's largest Port Festival along the banks of the Elbe. Enjoy the sights of our proud and beautiful Hanseatic city - her most impressive views can best be seen from the water. All this can be enjoyed aboard a lovingly restored, traditional sailing vessel, including a hearty sailor's stew and plenty of atmosphere.

A Special Port of Hamburg Cruise, including an „Elbtaufe"

You'll get to see the huge container ships and shipyards up close on this motor launch cruise through Germany's largest port. But this tour of the Port of Hamburg has even more to offer. You'll learn a lot about "the typical Hamburger" and get to see some sailors' tricks of the trade. Those who join in and do well are honoured with the "Elbtaufe" - the "Elbe baptism" - and are allowed to use their baptismal names as of their next voyage on the Elbe. Great fun for both landlubbers and "see-men"! Plus, you will receive your own personal certificate of baptism and an original Hamburg Guide as a memento.

1-Evening Cocktail Mixing Course

Great fun for singles, couples and groups! An experienced bartender will introduce you to the art of mixology. You'll learn interesting and entertaining facts about the ingredients and the essential "bar-tools". Then you'll get to mix some drinks yourself, learning to create delicious and decorative cocktails. You and your "classmates" will then comfortably sample your creations at the bar.
