Hamburg's hotel with tradition

Our hotel in the heart of Hamburg can look back upon a long history: built in 1896, it has been expanded several times over the past 115 years. The hotel was taken over in 1977 by the Bartels, a hotelier family, in whose possession it remains today.

The last expansion was undertaken in 1997, when we annexed the former "Stuttgarter Hof". Since then our hotel has offered 102 rooms, including two in the tower spire of the main building, which is listed as a protected historic landmark.

The Sterling Hotelgesellschaft began operating our hotel in 2006 and since then it has gradually been restored and modernized. By the way: according to legend, Prince Bismarck was our guest numerous times, staying here when he journeyed to and from his castle. In his honour, our hotel still bears his distinguished name.
